Remember to save your STAR WARS ticket stubs. I have collected 3 and these students will be given 10 points extra credit (which is equivalent to one lab) when we get back on January 4th. Don't forget the reason for the season: Be kind and good to your family and friends. Be thankful for all your gifts, even the ones that are disappointing....your heart will be happier being grateful for the thought behind the gift, even if it isn't what you were expecting. Remember to be helpful! Be sure to eat all your treats and every bite of Christmas dinner! Try something new that you have never tasted before...just DO IT! When it's over surprise your mom and do the dishes, at least a few. Take a few moments and pray for those who have less than you do. Spend a few minutes helping someone who doesn't know as much as you do. Enjoy spending time with people that you may not know. We are all family when you think about it.... Go sledding and wassailing. Make snowmen and have a slam-bang snowball fight. Play games, make good memories and come back to school rested and filled with excitement for the months to come. Merry Christmas and welcome in the New Year with great celebrations.
Remember the days will be getting longer and soon it will be summer! (December 21st = Winter Solstice = days get longer from now on).

Mrs. TaylorI love science! Everything about the world is interesting and never boring. I love to study plants, animals, insects, and people. My favorite subjects are my students who are the most unique organisms on the planet! Categories |
