Know any famous Australians or South Africans? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in the Southern Hemisphere? They have different seasons (opposite from ours) and they have different skies (or night time stars). It appears that anyone who lives "down there" are doing just fine! So what is it like? In the southern hemisphere, people are more basic than us Northern Hemispherians. Each season down there begins on the first day of the month, instead of on the 21st or 22nd or 23rd! Each season begins on the first day of the calendar month, so summer is from December 1 to the end of February, autumn from March to May, winter from June to August, and spring from September to November. Autumn is undoubtedly the season to receive the most rain. Autumn occurs begins on the 1st of March and carries on throughout the entity of April and May. Cyclones are a weather phenomenon that occurs between the months of November and April. This occurrence is one that is more typical for the tropical regions within Australia. Every couple of years, a major cyclone tears through the region, though it doesn’t always make landfall and casualties are rare. Living in an upside down world, might not be such a bad thing....
