Q: How does Jupiter hold up his trousers? A: With an asteroid belt. What's so funny? The Asteroid belt is real and very interesting. Here are some facts about the asteroid belt to ponder: There are hundreds of thousands of asteroids in the asteroid belt, but almost half of the entire mass is made up of just four objects. These objects are the dwarf planet Ceres, and three other asteroids called Vesta, Pallas and Hygiea. This is the dwarf planet Ceres: Of the many thousands of asteroids in the asteroid belt, Ceres is the only one large enough to be classified as a “dwarf planet”. Apart from these four objects, the remaining objects in the asteroid belt range in size from small rocks right down to dust particles. The asteroid belt is between the planets Mars and Jupiter. It is located about 2.2 to 3.2 Astronomical Units (AU) from the Sun. That is somewhere between 329-478 million km away. The asteroid belt is huge and the space between each of the asteroids is over 600,000 miles. The circumference of Earth is only 24,901.45 miles, which means that the distance between objects in the asteroid belt is more than 24 times the circumference of Earth. The asteroid belt is disc shaped and the asteroids are made of rock and metal. Most are all irregularly shaped. Gravitational forces can throw asteroids out of the belt and send them towards the inner solar system, near Mars and Earth. Asteroids are similar to comets, they lack the bright flashy tail that makes comets so recognizable. If you have a moment visit this website: http://www.asterank.com/3d/ It has a beautiful 3D view of all the asteroids that NASA is tracking. This is a fascinating place that you can control with your mouse to view the Asteroid Belt and Asteroids sideways, upside down, etc. I really recommend a visit! Another fascinating asteroid belt, called the Kuiper Belt is beyond Neptune. Also known as the Edgeworth–Kuiper belt, this part of the solar system extends from just beyond the orbit of the planet Neptune to a distance of roughly 50-55 astronomical units from the Sun. Primarily made up of small icy bodies that include the minor planets Pluto, Haumea and Makemake, much about the origin of the Kuiper belt remains unknown. The Kuiper Belt is similar to the Asteroid Belt, but 20 times wider. Kuiper belt objects (KBOs) are mostly made up of frozen volatiles of ammonia, methane and water (commonly termed as "ice"), unlike asteroids that are small masses of rock. The Kuiper belt, discovered in 1992, derives its name from Gerard Kuiper, the astronomer who had predicted its existence. This is one reason Pluto does not pass as a planet anymore....it is part of the Kuiper Belt.... Remember! Before you leave your computer check this out!! http://www.asterank.com/3d/

I believe when computers are slow it is because they don't have enough space to hold stuff in their memory unit then they did when they were bran new. if you think about it it makes sense because the older it gets the more the computers memory is filled up, and the more the memory is filled up then the more the computer must load. or if think about it another way then the more you into the cloud the longer it takes for the computer to load. or the computer could be just really stupid. hey i just thought up a haiku.
