When I say water cycle everyone groans! "We learned that in 5th grade, Mrs. Taylor!" Ummmm, after our little pre-water-cycle-quizlet. There's a lot we don't remember.... Please observe and study these diagrams.... Even in a different language...observe how many of the words are in "English"? Science is spoken the same in many languages.
The water cycle is not as simple as maybe you learned in 5th grade? There are words like "precipitation, evaporation, transpiration, sublimation, condensation, water vapor"....it's a lot, I know, but our brains can figure this out! Take some time, 5 minutes, and study these diagrams. I really think what you learned will all come back to you....

Yeah I didn't think transpiration was part of the water cycle. I guess we will learn something new about the water cycle.

I knew it was part of the water cycle but I thought it was when the rain gave water to the plants, not the plants giving water to the clouds!!! Oh well... failed the quiz...

Mrs. TaylorI love science! Everything about the world is interesting and never boring. I love to study plants, animals, insects, and people. My favorite subjects are my students who are the most unique organisms on the planet! Categories |
